Topic is the affect of higher education on law enforcement, or the need for education in the criminal justice field
The paper must be at least 10 pages (not including the title page, abstract, tables, and references), must incorporate at least 10 sources, and must use APA or ASA format. The paper should be typed in Times New Roman, 12 font, with one inch margins. It should be double-spaced. No spaces should present between paragraphs (You must manually change this setting). Be mindful of basic grammar and spelling errors. Each paper should have a title page. The title page should have a running head with a shortened title, the running head with page numbers in the heading, the name of the paper, the student’s name, the course name and number, and the university’s name. The next page should have the title of the paper centered with the heading “Introduction” underneath. Use APA or ASA formatting for headings, subheadings, and in-text citations as well as for the reference page. Avoid sentence fragments, run-on sentences and contractions. Do not use slang unless you are quoting someone. Need an abstract section as well

The necessary components for the final paper include:
1) Introduction: You MUST include this heading
Introduce the topic. In general, the topic should present a summary of what you are going to discuss in the paper. In the introduction, the student must explain why this topic is important. You may want to argue that it has not been thoroughly studied (exploratory research), that it is a prevalent problem, that it is a financially costly issue, that the issue identifies inequality in the system, or that it is a dangerous issue. Many or all of these explanations may apply to the topic. Remember that any arguments presented must be supported with references. The last sentence of the introduction should be a thesis sentence that summarizes the layout of the paper.
2) Literature Review: You MUST include this heading
This section of the paper should provide a relatively thorough background of important findings on your topic. For instance, has any other research examined these two topics? What did they find? What types of methods, samples were used? What are the limitations of the previous research? Etc. Be thorough, and be sure that any and all research provided is relevant to your argument. You must provide a heading indicating the beginning of your literature review.
4) Data: You MUST include this heading
Where is your data coming from? Will you collect your own? If so, how? Are you using secondary data? Conducting and experiment? What type of data do you have (e.g. survey, secondary, etc.)? What is this survey? How is it collected? Who collects it and why? Provide any other pertinent information that you think is necessary. You must provide a heading indicating the beginning of your critics section.
5) Variables and Methods: You MUST include this heading
What are your variables? How are they operationalized? What statistical method and program are you using (Ex: SPSS, chi-square, cross-tabulations, regression, etc.). What control variables will you use? How are they operationalized? Have you done any recoding? .
