Write a paper of no less than 500 words indicating:
· What an IEPs is
· Who benefits from it
· The seven required members of the IEP team and their distinct roles
· Any specific rules or regulations regarding IEPs and the state in which you reside (while IDEA is a federal law, states can and do have state-specific laws regarding IEPs as well)

For your final assignment, you will need to synthesize all of your knowledge into creating a family engagement plan for your classroom. Imagine you have a reasonable budget (not unlimited) and willing school administrators. How will you engage families? How will you be inclusive of children with exceptionalities? This project is meant to synthesize all of your learning in this class and put it to use in a practical way. Use your creativity. You could design a website, newsletter, Smore, or some other means of engagement. You could plan a series of events. Given the creativity of the assignment, no rubric is attached. Please refer to these salient characteristics to ensure full marks on the assignment.

Your final in this course is an original research paper investigating a social problem of your choosing. In this paper, you must address the following aspects of your problem:
-What sociological causes and explanations have been linked to this problem? Keep in mind the various theoretical perspectives. -What social factors (structural, cultural, interactional, political, etc.) contribute to the existence of the problem? -What do sociologists or other experts believe may be potential solutions to this problem?
